Awesome Golf was born out of necessity. When our founder Gavin went looking for a simulator for his young son, he found nothing on the market that was fun and also tracked short shots. So we built it.

We build software that turns any supported launch monitor into a full golf simulator: range practice, challenges, shootouts and full rounds of Virtual Golf, on the devices you already own.
Better players get the instant feedback, coaching dashboards and Insights they need to improve. Everyone else gets boats to sink, towers to knock down and five tee positions so nobody gets left out.
Today Awesome Golf is played in almost every country, at home, at driving ranges and at indoor venues.
Our story so far
Born out of necessity
Gavin, our founder, set out to buy a simulator for his young son and quickly found there was nothing on the market that was fun and also tracked short shots.
A meeting in Orlando
At the PGA Show, Gavin met the team at FlightScope, and the journey into building software for its launch monitors began.
Ben joins from PlayStation
Former PlayStation programmer Ben Fawcett joined, and the team set about designing games and skills challenges that are fun to play and help golfers get better.
First UK club
Horsham Golf & Leisure in West Sussex became the first club in the UK to install Awesome Golf and FlightScope Range.
First UK indoor venue
PGA Professional David Hewitt’s Golf in Progress facility in Essex became the first indoor venue in the UK to install Awesome Golf across its simulator bays.
Our biggest install yet
Awesome Golf completed its largest installation to date at Grimsby Golf Centre in Lincolnshire.
George joins the team
George Rourke, with a background spanning club operations, sales and marketing, joined to support Awesome Golf’s growth.
A home at Windlesham
We moved into our first permanent office at Windlesham Golf Club, with a simulator bay on the range for demos, members and teaching pros.
A shot a minute at the BMW PGA
With the Golf Foundation, our bay saw junior golfers as young as three hit a shot every minute for five days straight. Kids love golf, stickers and sweets.
Hello, Garmin
Awesome Golf launched on the Garmin Approach R10, our second launch monitor partner.
Android, ChromeOS and macOS
Garmin players asked for a native Android app, so we built one, bringing ChromeOS along too. Apple’s M1 chips let us launch on macOS as well.
¡Vamos!
With help from customers and distributors worldwide, every one of our apps was translated into Spanish.
Rapsodo MLM2PRO
We launched our integration with the Rapsodo MLM2PRO.
Foresight Sports & Bushnell Golf
We launched our integration with Foresight Sports and Bushnell Golf.
Licensed 18-hole courses
Version 3.0 brought our first licensed courses: the West Course at Wentworth Club and the Majlis Course at Emirates Golf Club, playable from home.
